[453] Public service: June 1822, he & brothers went to mouth of Colorado
River to pick up supplies for S.F. Austin's Colony. Voted in alcalde
& deputy election in 1823-24. Ayuntamiento of San Felipe appointed
him commissioner to choose best road from San Felipe to Marion.
Served on 1st Petis Jury in Ft. Bend County in Feb. 1838.
