Public service: June 1822, he & brothers went to mouth of Colorado
River to pick up supplies for S.F. Austin's Colony. Voted in alcalde
& deputy election in 1823-24. Ayuntamiento of San Felipe appointed
him commissioner to choose best road from San Felipe to Marion.
Served on 1st Petis Jury in Ft. Bend County in Feb. 1838.

Was among the first to settle at Austin's Colony along the BrazosRiver in 1822, Joined with Andrew Robinson.
