Joined Tx. army on 10/30/1835, served until 2/20/1836, was in Seige of
Bexar, became member of Wheelock's Rangers in summer 1836 for
protection of the Robertson Colony.
He was one of only eleven Baptists of the Old 300. Was part-time
preacher.
Was in California gold rush of 1849, returned to Tx.
No known pictures although described as 5'10", dark complexion, black
eyes and brown hair in 1835.
