Austin Town Historical Re-enactment
Location
In 2005 the Brazoria County Historical Museum, Brazoria County, the City of Angleton and Brazoria County Drainage Districts 1 & 5 agreed to jointly develop a new facility to house Austin Town. The new location is at the intersection of Highway 288 & 288B with an entrance to the property on Highway 521. This site, just a few miles north of Angleton, Texas, is centrally located, easy to find and well situated for special events. The street address is 22821 FM 521.
Austin Town will move from it's present location to the new site after the site preparation work is completed. This includes construction of a new parking lot and drainage work around one of the lakes on the property.
